Nouveau Lash & Lid Foaming Cleanser

As a #bblogger I love putting on my makeup in the morning, but nothing is more satisfying than removing it at the end of a long day! One thing I absolutely hate is being left with panda eyes, which pretty much happens daily when I use my Clinique Take The Day Off in the shower.
When the team at nouveau lashes emailed me about a brand new product they would be launching in May, I could not hide my excitement. I am a huge fan of everything nouveau lashes, everything I’ve tired I have absolutely loved.

“This gentle foaming cleanser is designed to encourage effective lash and eyelid hygiene by removing potential irritants, whilst thoroughly cleansing and conditioning the eye area. The hypoallergenic formulation is gentle on even the most sensitive eyes. Key anti-ageing ingredients also provide intense hydration and moisturisation to allow the skin to better defend itself against environmental aggressors and other ageing effects. Suitable for both lash extensions and natural lashes.”

I have found that the best way to use this is to pump one or two pumps into the back of your hand and dabbing the brush into the cleanser then onto your lashes in circular motion. Once you pump the gel formula, it quickly turns into a foam. For a limited time when you order the product it comes with a cute little purple brush (while stocks last, so make sure you head on over to nouveau lashes #now).

I’ll be honest when I first heard about the brush it puzzled me how I was going to remove my makeup using a brush. I own hundreds of brushes to apply my makeup but never heard of one to remove! The first thing I noticed was how soft my eyelashes felt, there were no clumps of mascara or signs of any eyeshadow. My skin felt SO smooth. I hate having to rub my eyes to remove makeup; One because it makes me worry about my sensitive eyes and if they start stinging at any moment making me panic I’m going blind. Two because I rub so hard at times, my precious eyelashes fall out.

“Pro tip: This cleanser is the perfect way to clean your Strip lashes (allowing for re-use), your make-up brushes and it also removes traces of strip lash adhesive on the eyelids.”

Overall, I am so impressed with this new cleanser you can purchase it here. You can use it on your natural, LVL and SVS lashes. It retails at £14.99  which I think is very reasonably priced considering you get a brush too. Make sure you place your order while stock lasts.

Which cleanser do you use and recommend?

  1. I have a confession to make - I've never worn false lashes! Your method for using this cleanser sounds like something I might try to remove my nascara though as I'm far too rough when I take mine off!

  2. This sounds really interesting. I also have really sensitive eyes so I find a lot of products too harsh and I'm a total baby! It would be nice to find something that did the job without the stinging!

  3. Great post Tania! My favourite eye remover right now has got to be the H&M eye makeup removing pads or using micellar water on a cotton pad, it's so gentle on my eyes and it always removes the product well for me. I was sent the Nouveau lash and lid cleanser too however I'm having to wait a few more weeks before trying it again after getting a little bit of a reaction this weekend!!!! Lots of love x x

  4. This sounds like a great product which I could use to on Mascara which I sometime struggle to remove because they are so waterproof I haven't worn false lashes in the longest time but a product like this could change my mind.

  6. I'm with you there, Tania - taking your makeup off at the end of the day is such a great feeling! Like Amy, I don't wear false lashes all that regularly, but this would indeed be great for taking off heavy eye makeup or mascara too! I need to try out Nouveau Lashes ASAP, I've heard such good things about their brand! Thanks for sharing!

  13. This looks like an interesting product. I personally just use Micellar water on a baby wipes and cotton pads before cleansing my face with a face wash and it does the job for me! Sometimes, I may have to go in with a cotton bud with a bit of micellar water to really get off every bit around my eyes, especially because I tightline so much!
